Request: Wedding Ceremony
If you are considering to be married at Bryan FBC, congratulations on your engagement and approaching marriage! The marriage ceremony is one of the most sacred of all rituals of the church. It is both a celebration and a solemn rite in which two persons pledge
themselves to each other under the blessings of God and are united by Him in this lifelong commitment.
It is the desire of Bryan FBC and our Pastor, to make every wedding a memorable, beautiful and meaningful event and to extend every possible courtesy to wedding parties. It is also our intent, to maintain the high standards associated with weddings at Bryan FBC.
All weddings must be scheduled through the church office. Upon scheduling your wedding with the Pastor, you will receive further instructions and other forms used by the church.
Completion of this form is not a guarantee of placement of your wedding date on the church calendar. Additionally, a minimum of five (5) months notice prior to any requested wedding date is required. This allows time for adequate premarital counseling courses to occur and for other appropriate preparations to be made.
Once we receive this completed form, the master calendar is checked for availability and your request is reviewed by our Pastoral Staff. One of our Pastors will meet with you to further
discuss your request. At this meeting, the Pastor will either deny or approved your request. Please note that your wedding date will NOT be confirmed on the church calendar until the above requirements have been met.
Premarital counseling is required for any and all weddings to occur at the Bryan FBC campus or to be officiated by one of our pastors. A minimum of 6 sessions is required for each couple interested in being married. This may be done either by one of our pastors or an approved counselor of your choice.
