Get Involved

After you've connected with Jesus and begin growing in your relationship with Him, your next step is to get involved in the mission other Christians are involved in--essentially, making more disciples or followers of Jesus.

There are several ways churches choose to do this. Each church is different in the way they collectively serve Christ and make disciples. Our church has gotten fairly specific on what we feel Jesus has asked us to do with the resources and abilities we have available to us with the collection of people who call themselves Bryan FBC.

It's a team effort. We're all in this together. And our goal is to make a difference in our community.

When we read the Bible, we have found that wherever Jesus is, something exciting happens. Something awesome happens. No where in the Bible does Jesus show up and things get more boring, more predictable or worse than they already are. Jesus influenced positive change in peoples' lives. He made a difference.

We want to be like Jesus, and so in serving Him, we want things to get more exciting wherever we go. We expect awesome things to happen. We believe that we're literally on an expectant adventure, always asking Jesus, "What's next, Papa?"
