Welcome to Bryan First Brethren Church

Church. That's a funny word these days, isn't it? More and more this word is changing. It doesn't mean what it used to mean. Today, for many people, church is a repulsive word. People don't like church. There are judgmental Christians there. Church.

At First Brethren, we understand this stigma. We don't like it either. We believe that the church consists of people bound by relationships, rather than a building where people gather. We believe that we are the church, and as such, we need to make a difference.

Should you choose to visit us some weekend or weeknight, we hope this site will help you be better prepared. We don't have to tell you that the first visit to a new church can be QUITE an experience. Hopefully this will make it easier for you.
